Fantasia In Dub is the melding of Walt Disney’s Fantasia and the James album Wah Wah synched together to create a new fantastical experience.Enjoy the magic of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice set to the song Maria. Watch the dancing flowers rock out to the song Jam J. Learn form the song Honest Joe when juxtaposed to Satan damming the lost souls. Sit back in awe as we watch Cupid's spread love throughout Mount Olympus, followed by the crescendo of Zeus unleashing a storm, and the restored tranquility after the storm. Fantasia's extraordinary animation lends itself to being remixed with the chaotic and exotic music of Wah Wah. While the music was never altered or edited, the picture has been re-cut to precisely fit the new score.

Reviews
I enjoyed this so much! Disney's animation works beautifully with James's music. Before I saw this, Dark Side of the Rainbow was my favorite synch. Now Fantasia In Dub is my new chillout film. -Angela O., Arizona |

Brian Eno produced Wah Wah in 1993 during the outtakes of the Laid sessions. The songs grew out of improvisations that the band used to develop music for the album Laid. The sound-scapes evolved into rich dynamic universes of their own and now comprise the Wah Wah album.
James are Tim Booth, Saul Davies, Jim Glennie, Larry Gott, Mark Hunter, David Baynton-Power. |

Fantasia (1940), a Disney animated feature-length "concert" film milestone, is an experimental film integrating eight magnificent compositions with enchanting, exhilarating, and imaginative, artistically-choreographed animation. The conceptual framework of the individual pieces embraces such areas as prehistoric times, the four seasons, nature, hell/heaven, the themes of light vs. darkness and chaos vs. order, dancing animals, classical mythology, and legend. |
